Caesar's Take
The original Johnson's Corner gas station from 1937, mentioned in Jack Kerouac's On the Road, now fully renovated into a bar, restaurant, and event space in Longmont's Prospect neighborhood. Super cool indoor outdoor space, live music on weekends, good food with a lot of variety. Year two of operation and the summer live music calendar is ramping up. One of the more interesting origin stories of any bar in NoCo.
What to order
The Diesel Burger is the standout. Americana classics including burgers, hot dogs, and upscale American plates. Full bar with 24 taps, craft and domestic beers, cocktails, wine, and non-alcoholic options.

Multi-level indoor and outdoor space with a rooftop patio, cabana booths with fire pits, greenery, a performance section for live music, and an indoor and outdoor bar with 24 taps. One of the more impressive patio setups in Longmont.

Show up between 3 and 5pm daily for happy hour, order a house margarita, grab a cabana booth with a fire pit, and stay for the live music Friday or Saturday night. The Diesel Burger is the dish that gets called out most in reviews.
Good to know
Closed Mondays. Bar opens at 3pm Tue-Sun, kitchen opens at 3:30pm Tue-Fri. Fri/Sat stay open until 10pm. Live music every Fri/Sat starting May 23rd. Trivia first and third Tuesdays at 6:30pm. Bingo second and fourth Thursdays at 7pm.
