Elliott's feels like one of those Old Town spots people quietly keep coming back to for years without really talking about it much. The whole place is low lighting, cold martinis, tiny tables, and couples or friend groups settling in for way longer than they planned. It somehow manages to feel upscale without getting stiff or pretentious, which is probably why the booths stay packed almost every weekend. Great place when you want cocktails and conversation instead of another loud brewery night.
Get a martini flight, the baked brie, and the twice-baked potatoes.
Patio
Small sidewalk patio right on Linden where people camp out with martinis once the weather cools off in the evening. One of the better people-watching spots downtown if you can grab a table early enough.

Signature move
Grab a booth during happy hour, order a couple martinis and baked brie, then accidentally stay until close.
Good to know
The room gets tight and loud fast on weekends and on Weds ($7 Dirty Martini's), especially once the late-night crowd starts squeezing into the booths.
