The Rio in downtown Greeley is really more about the atmosphere and margaritas than trying to be some authentic hidden taco spot, and honestly that’s why people go there. The patio on the plaza is one of the better outdoor setups downtown once the weather gets nice, especially if you can grab a table during happy hour and just sit there for awhile. Margaritas definitely live up to the reputation too. There’s a reason they limit them. I usually tell people to keep it simple here… chips, queso, fajitas, margaritas, good conversation, and people-watching on the patio. That’s kind of the Rio experience.
