Caesar's Take
True to its name ("Verboten" means forbidden in German), the brewery is famous for pushing boundaries by incorporating non-traditional ingredients like fruit, spices, and barrel-aging techniques into their craft beers.
Signature move
Because their tap list is heavily dominated by complex, high-ABV (alcohol by volume) barrel-aged beers and funky sours, jumping straight into a full pint can be overwhelming. Ordering a flight lets you taste the crazy spectrum of what they can do without wiping out your palate or your sobriety too early.
Patio
They have a fantastic, dog-friendly outdoor patio section right out front on 5th Street. It is a prime spot for people-watching in downtown Loveland, catching the afternoon sun, and enjoying a cold beer with your pup.

Good to know
They are famous for their barrel-aged stouts and barleywines, many of which easily cross into the 11% to 14% ABV range. They taste incredibly smooth and deceptively sweet, so pace yourself.
