La Luz Mexican Grill

La Luz has been one of those dependable Fort Collins spots forever, especially if you like fresher Baja-style Mexican food instead of the heavier cheese-smothered Tex-Mex route. The fish tacos are really what put the place on the map for a lot of people, but honestly the salsa bar deserves just as much attention. I also think people forget how good their breakfast burritos are during the week. Patio is surprisingly relaxed for being tucked into midtown, and it's an easy spot to grab tacos and a margarita without dealing with Old Town crowds. Definitely more casual counter-service energy, but that's kind of the appeal.
