Best Places to Go Alone in Northern Colorado

Most guides tell you where to eat or drink. This one answers a different question: where can you show up by yourself and feel completely fine about it. Not tolerated, not parked in the back, but genuinely comfortable reading at the bar or nursing a pint while the afternoon goes by. Some of these are loud rooms you disappear into. Some are quiet enough to think in. A few are the kind of tavern where the bartender stops asking if someone's joining you. We went to all of them alone, on purpose.
